From the Logan movie where – hopefully this isn’t a spoiler for anyone – his body is being poisoned by his Adamantium and he is aging and dying. Yes, this the cosplayer’s real hair and beard. The base photo looked nice – it is purposefully a bit tilted for effect – but I wanted to experiment and give the image some aging and more “oomph.” I used Nik Software’s Analog Efex – Classic Camera (with organic scratches) and Color Efex Pro – Pro Constrast/Darken-Lighten center filters. Even though the film/character is set a dozen years in the future (2029 while the movie was filmed in 2017), it felt right to make this image look a bit battered and weathered to add to the illusion.
