On April 5th, I turned 30. I love Star Trek, so for my birthday my wife and I drove to Angeles National Forest about 45 minutes northeast of LA. Our mission: discover the locations where they filmed Zefram Cochrane’s scenes for “Star Trek: First Contact.” After a few false leads (and next to zero locality information online other than it was filmed at a place called Charlton Flat) we managed to find where each scene was filmed!
