12 years before 1976’s SUPERMAN VS. THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, Fawcett’s (later DC’s) Captain Marvel met Marvel’s original Human Torch in an issue of Brazilian comic Almanaque Do O Globo Juvenil. The publisher, RGE, had the license to reprint Fawcett and Marvel material at the time.
