Mystique can’t wait to fill her prison for female mutants with new residents. The ungrateful X-Girls, however, don’t share their hostess’s enthusiasm. Numerous desperate escape attempts force Mystique to wonder if her captive X-Girls truly want to be her permanent slaves or not. In her nobility, Mystique offers one of the X-Girls—and it’s no coincidence that it’s Rogue—whether she wants to stay in permanent bondage and submission or leave the prison along with the other X-Girls. Meanwhile, Kitty Pryde partially disables her inhibitor collar and decides that this place isn’t for her, but to her horror, she discovers more and more X-Girls in worse and worse bondage positions. Fortunately, help is already on the way when X-23 and Emma Frost arrive at the X-Girls’ headquarters and find it ransacked.
